Group of people in a computer lesson Free Basic Computer Support

This project aims to help Communities First residents learn the basic skills needed to access computers and the internet.

To do this we run free digital drop in sessions where residents can access our computer facilities to use the internet or to receive one-to-one support to improve their basic computer skills in an area of their choice.

Typical areas we work on with residents include how to use mice/keyboards, internet, Google, e-mail, Microsoft Word and Tablets.

Group-of-young-peopleSupport for those who are NEET

We offer various different sessions including Job Clubs, Universal Jobmatch Training, CV and Covering letter workshops in addition to running training sessions to help you gain qualifications. In addition we also run site visits to local employers where you will have the chance to find out about potential careers they offer, how to apply and how to improve your chances of success.

We have  separate mentors for those aged 16-24 and those 25 and above. You can also arrange a one-to-one meeting with one of our friendly mentors.
