Apply for a Blue Badge
All applications are treated like new badge applications, there are no renewal applications.
Blue Badges usually cover a three year period, and after this you can be reassessed. We recommend that you apply for a new badge at least five weeks prior to the expiry date of your current badge.
You will need to provide proof of PIP, DLA or a letter from Doctor/Consultant, if you have none of these you can submit your application and Social Services will assess your application.
Please Note: If you are under 65 years old, not in receipt of High Rate Mobility component of the Disability Living Allowance, and have not applied for Personal Independence Payments you should do so prior to applying for a Blue Car Badge.
