The two day event will involve fun football coaching in the company of professional UEFA qualified, Cardiff City FC Foundation coaches.

Enjoyable football games and activities, as well as small sided matches are just the start, as each participant will receive a small prize and certificate on the final day, as well as a chance to win signed memorabilia, match tickets, stadium tours, training ground visits and much more!

Sessions are open to boys and girls of any ability, if you've never kicked a football before or have been playing for years, you are guaranteed to enjoy the sessions, develop your skills and technique before putting them into practice in conditioned, small sided games.

The Show hosts a large Craft Fair and Horticultural Show along with a Home Produce marquee.
There is also the Poultry Show and KC Registered Dog Show and Cattle and Sheep Classes.  Horse Classes run in the main ring from 6.30am until 3pm when there is a spectacular Grand Parade of all the Prize Winning Animals.

Funded by Children in Need, the school holiday club focuses on creative activities, interacting and building social skills. The sessions are led by professional artists focusing on different creative art subjects.

Activities include: Paper Craft; Ceramics; Drama; Sculpting; Printmaking; Painting; Music; Drawing; Photography

 

Cost: FREE although this excludes transport, food and 1:1 support costs.

The five-day event will involve fun football coaching in the company of professional UEFA qualified, Cardiff City FC Foundation coaches.

Enjoyable football games and activities, as well as small sided matches are just the start, as each participant will receive a small prize and certificate on the final day, as well as the chance to win signed memorabilia, match tickets, stadium tours, training ground visits and much more!  

The sessions are open to boys and girls of any ability, if you've never kicked a ball before or have been playing for years, you are guaranteed to enjoy the sessions, develop your skills and technique before putting them into practice in conditioned, small sided games. 

Breakfast will also be available for participants, with cereal (£1.50) and toast (£1.00) on offer from our Central Café which is located upstairs in House of Sport.

Japan: Obon (Lantern Fesitval) 2018

In Japan Obon is an important festival which celebrates the spirits of the dead coming back to be reunited with their families. Paper lanterns are lit to help guide the spirits home or to their resting place.

 

In these family workshops you will visit the Kizuna! exhibition, make and decorate an Obon lantern, and try floating it on our indoor ‘river’.

 

Obon is being celebrated alongside Kizuna! a special exhibition celebrating the bond between Japan and Wales.
