Places on QCF courses are only confirmed once the candidate has attended an induction interview with the college. Applications will be held as pending until that time. Queries prior to interview should be directed to the training department

Please Note: If the candidate withdraws or is withdrawn from the award the Vale of Glamorgan Council will require a refund of the cost of the QCF, currently ranging from £175-£500 depending on level.

The Qualification Framework for the Social Care Sector in Wales (Qualification Framework) lists qualifications for job roles in social care settings. Some qualifications are required for specific workers for professional registration or for services to meet National Minimum Standards (NMS) and others are given as guidance.

Please note: Some independent training companies are providing access to free QCFs. Unfortunately the training and development team are unable to provide specific recommendations at this time.
