Getting to Cardiff Airport

The nearest principal main line railway station is Cardiff Central Station where connections to destinations throughout Wales and the UK can be made. You can get to Cardiff Airport by rail from Cardiff or Bridgend on the Vale of Glamorgan line with Arriva Trains Wales.
A Shuttle Bus service connects the Airport with Rhoose Rail Station.
Two services directly serve Cardiff Airport.
The frequent Cardiff Airport Express Service T9 between the Airport Terminal and the Welsh Capital City, Cardiff and the Rail Link Service 905 between the Airport Terminal and Rhoose (Cardiff Airport) Rail Station. Both these services are currently provided by New Adventure Travel Ltd (Tel: 029 20 442 040), which also provides Local Bus Service 303/304 (Bridgend – Barry – Cardiff) that serves bus stops located on Port Road adjacent to the Holiday inn Express, which is within walking distance to the Airport Terminal. Cardiff Airport Express Service T9
The 'Cardiff Airport Express Service T9’ connects Cardiff Airport with our Capital City, Cardiff. The service generally runs every 20 minutes, 7 days a week throughout the summer period (1 April to 31 October) and every 30 minutes during the winter period (1 November to 31 March) with reduced frequencies at the start and end of the daily services (see timetables for times).
Limited stops are served on route for those travelling to or from the Airport only.
The limited stops currently served on route include the Holiday Inn Express (Port Road, Cardiff Airport - outbound only), Travelodge (Cwm Ciddy, Port Road, Barry), Premier Inn (Walston Castle, Port Road, Wenvoe), Cardiff Bay (Red Dragon Centre, Hemingway Road), Marriot Hotel (Cardiff Centre, Customhouse Street) and Cardiff Bus Station (Stand D1; near Cardiff Central Rail Station). This service is operated by New Adventure Travel Ltd (Tel: 029 20 442 040).
Cardiff Airport Rail Linc Bus Service 905
This service connects the Airport Terminal with trains arriving at and departing from Rhoose (Cardiff Airport) Station. The service also serves the Holiday Inn Express near Cardiff Airport and also extends to serve the British Airways Maintenance Centre, St Athan Village, MOD St Athan Enterprise Zone and Eglwys Brewis at peak times Mondays to Fridays.
Service 303/304 (Bridgend – Barry – Cardiff)
New Adventure Travel also provides service 303/304, which serves bus stops located on Port Road adjacent to the Holiday In Express, within walking distance to the terminal building at Cardiff Airport. Service 303/304 runs between Bridgend and Cardiff serving Ewenny, Ogmore-by-Sea, Southerndown, Wick, Broughton, Monknash, Marcross, St Donats (Atlantic College), llantwit Major, Boverton, Eglwys Brewis, MOD St Athan, St Athan Village, East Aberthaw, Rhoose, Holiday Inn Express (Port Road for Cardiff Airport), Barry, Dinas Powys, Eastbrook, and Cardiff Bay.
The National Express Coach Service operates regular direct services to Cardiff Central bus station, where onward transport to the Airport can be obtained by bus, train or taxi.

Exit junction 33 on the M4 and follow the signs to Cardiff Airport along the A4232, A4050 and A4226. The airport is situated in Rhoose, 12 miles west of Cardiff and 10 miles from the M4.
