C-Card Scheme

Aim to bring about a reduction in sexually transmitted infections, increase sexual health information, reduce pregnancy rates for young people aged between 14-25; and allows them to access contraceptive advice in their leisure time.

Main Office location: Llantwit Major, Station Road, Llantwit Major, CF61 1ST

The C-Card programme is a Families First funded programme.

What We Do:

  • Offer free Level 2 Agored Cymru accredited training for all professionals on Sexual Health
  • Work with schools and wellbeing coaches to tailor programmes to the needs of the young people in SRE education
  • Support young people that need additional support or information relating to Relationships and Sexuality.
  • Offer informal education based on Reality babies where young people have the opportunity to take the babies home for a weekend to sample the life of a young parent.
  • Offer contraceptive advice to young people between the ages of 14-25 in various locations across the Vale, from clinics, school, outreach teams, and youth club settings with an aim to making it more accessible to have information, guidance and sign posting
  • Non- Judgemental young person friendly advice
