Biography

Councillor Hunter Jarvie was first elected to the former Vale of Glamorgan Borough Council in 1982. He represents the Cowbridge ward as a Conservative member.  

 

Elected Mayor of the former Borough Council in 1988, and again as Chairman of the present Unitary Council 1999-2000.

 

Hunter is a solicitor by profession, having qualified in 1968. He is a graduate of Birmingham University having gained an Honours Degree in Law in 1965. He is President of the Vale of Glamorgan Conservative Association and serves on its Executive and is President of the Cowbridge Branchof the Royal British Legion.
