Report of the Managing Director

 

Use of the Managing Director's Emergency Powers

 

Purpose of the Report

  1. To notify Council of the exercising of Emergency Powers in respect of Council (as opposed to Executive) functions by the Managing Director since the last report in September 2017.

Recommendation

T H A T the report be noted.

Reason for the Recommendation

To inform Council.

Background

  1. The Emergency Powers procedure was approved by Minute No. 95, 2012/13.

Relevant Issues and Options

  1. To note the following:

     (a)     To approve the request of the Leader of the Conservative Group that Councillor Leighton Rowlands replace Councillor Marguerita Wright on the Healthy Living and Social Care Scrutiny Committee with immediate effect.

     (b)     To approve the request of the Leader of the Labour Group that Councillor Neil Moore replace Councillor Anne Moore on the Environment and Regeneration Scrutiny Committee with immediate effect.
