Site Inspections

 

Purpose of the Report

1.             To note the attendance at the sites indicated below on 22nd February, 2013.

Recommendation

That the report be noted.

Reason for the Recommendation

To inform Committee.

 

Background

2.             Following requests from Scrutiny Committee Members, arrangements were made for site visits to leisure centres managed by Parkwood and to the Colcot Sports Centre in Barry.

3.             Apologies for absence were received from Councillor Mrs. A.J. Moore (Vice-Chairman); Councillors P.J. Clarke, E. Hacker and C.J. Williams.

(a)     Barry Leisure Centre

Also present: Cabinet Member for Leisure, Parks, Culture and Sport Development, Councillor G. John and Councillor M.R. Wilson.

(b)     Colcot Sports Centre
