Let’s Talk

How can we improve local Well-being?

PSB Logo

We want to hear your views on the Vale Public Service Board's draft Well-being plan.

The Public Services Board is made up of senior people from a number of different public sector organisations like the Council, Fire Service and Health Board and our draft Well-being Plan sets out what we are planning to do over the next five years.

Well-being Plan

We have used our assessment of well-being in the Vale together with what you told us matters most to produce our draft Well-being Plan. We have identified four well-being Objectives to improve life in the Vale, they are:

  • To enable people to get involved, participate in their local community and shape local services;
  • To reduce poverty and tackle inequalities linked to deprivation;
  • To give children the best start in life; and
  • To protect, enhance and value our environment

Have your say

We want you to tell us if we have identified the right Well-being Objectives and Actions to improve well-being in the Vale, so let's talk!

You can get involved by:

  • Speaking to our team who will be out and about under the let's talk banner; or
  • Completing our survey (coming soon)
  • And look out for more information on social media

We would welcome your views on the Plan in writing, you can reach us at:

Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Area Plan for Care and Support Needs

Alongside the work to develop the draft Well-being Plan, an Area Plan is being developed by the Regional Partnership Board (RPB) across Cardiff and the Vale. This sets out how the RPB will work to promote the well-being of those in need of care and support, as well as care providers. We will be working with the RPB to ensure we capture views on both plans.
