13 arrests following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 13 arrests and 1 Court Summons issued last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 51 times during the week ending 30 March 2014.
On 7 April two females were arrested on Holton Road, Barry on a charge of theft.
One male was issued a Court Summons for various traffic offences on Holton Road, also on 7 April.
Also on Holton Road, on 8 April, one male was arrested for three counts of theft, and on the same day on Barry Road, two males were arrested on a charge of theft.
On 10 April one male was arrested on Holton Road for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
On 11 April, on Holton Road, one male was arrested for being outstanding wanted, and another male was arrested for theft.
On Boverton Road, Llantwit Major on 12 April, one male was arrested for assault, and on Market Street, Barry one male was arrested for a public order offence.
On Broad Street, Barry, also on 12 April, two males were arrested for assault and public order offences, and another male was arrested for assault.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
