7 arrested following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 7 arrests last week.

 

The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 36 times during the week ending 27 April 2014.

 

On 21 April one person was arrested on Broad Street, Barry for assault and possession of drugs.

 

Also on 21 April, on Broad Street one person was arrested for a public order offence, and on Holton Road, one person was arrested for theft.

 

On 25 April on Holton Road one person was arrested for possession with intent to supply, and two others were arrested for breach of conditions.

 

On 27 April, on Market Street, Barry, one person was arrested for assault.

 

All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.

 

The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
