The Man Van Visits The Vale

Wales’ first ManVan is touring the country over the next few months and Tuesday 15 April ad Thursday 17 April is your chance to get on board and take a look when it visits Barry and Cowbridge.


Wales’ leading cancer charity Tenovus have teamed up with Prostate Cancer UK and men’s health charity Movember to bring the ManVan to the men of Wales.


Made possible with funds raised during the annual Movember moustache growing campaign, the ManVan is a 38ft American-style motorhome, converted to bring dedicated mobile cancer support to communities throughout Wales. It will bring much needed advice and support to men affected by prostate or testicular cancer in areas where such services are currently lacking.


The ManVan offers one to one counselling, couples’ counselling, group support and benefits advice to men all over Wales. So pop along and have a cuppa, check out the ManVan and hear all about this brand new service.


The ManVan will be in the following areas at these times:

Barry - Tuesday 15 April, Promenade, Barry Island, 10.00am – 4.00pm
Cowbridge - Thursday 17 April, Waitrose Car park, 10.00am – 4.00pm
