8 arrested following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 8 arrests made, and one missing person found last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 51 times during the week ending 21 December 2014.
On 15 December one male was arrested on Arno Road, Barry for assault.
On 18 December, on Holton Road, Barry, one male was arrested for theft and being outstanding wanted.
On 19 December, on Dunlin Court, one male was arrested for theft, possession of a controlled substance, and for being outstanding wanted.
Three further arrests were made on Holton Road on 20 December as three males were arrested for assault and theft.
And on 21 December one male and one female were arrested on Barry Waterfront for theft.
A missing person was found on Holton Road on 18 December.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
