Council Offers Apprenticeships to Young People
12 December 2014
The Vale of Glamorgan Council is committed to supporting apprenticeship opportunities with over 20 young people moving into administration apprenticeships across the Council with the help of the Council’s Corporate Training team and recruitment agency Acorn People.
Following the recent announcement of The Business and Employment team’s 500th customer to have successfully secured employment, the Council has continued with its commitment to the Foundation Modern Apprenticeships programme.
Cllr Lis Burnett, Cabinet Member for Business, Innovation, Planning and Transport said: “I am delighted that the Council is once again able to offer apprenticeships to our local residents. It is testament to the commitment of young people today who are seeking employment opportunities. I wish them all good luck and hope to hear good things about their progress throughout their time with the Vale of Glamorgan Council.”
