10 arrests following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 10 arrests last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 49 times during the week ending 2 February 2014.
On 28 January one person was arrested on Market Street, Barry, for criminal damage.
On the same day one person was arrested for drunk in charge on High Street, Barry.
On 29 January four arrests were made in Barry, one person was arrested on Bassett Street for breach of bail, one person was arrested for theft on Dunlin Court and two people were arrested on Broad Street for theft.
Two people were arrested on 30 January on Holton road, Barry for theft.
On 1 February one person was arrested on High Street, Barry for criminal damage.
One person was arrested for driving while disqualified on Paget Road, Barry on 2 February.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
