The Big Fill returns

The main routes across the Vale of Glamorgan are to undergo additional road repairs under the ‘BIG Fill’ banner
The ‘BIG Fill’ is the council’s road repair project which was established to tackle the potholes problem in the Vale of Glamorgan Council area.
Cllr Rob Curtis, Cabinet member for the environment and visible services, explains: “The winter weather is again taking its toll on our roads, so the Big Fill team are now tackling potholes on our principal roads and interconnecting roads during the weekends. This work is in addition to the normal highway maintenance repair work.
“Once the weather improves in the Spring, we’ll again be asking residents to nominate potholes in their area to be filled. But please remember that potholes can be reported to the council anytime on our website or by calling the contact centre.”
