8 arrests following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 8 arrests last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 40 times during the week ending 11 January 2014.
On 7 January two people were arrested for racial harassment and being drunk and disorderly on High Street, Barry.
One person was arrested on 8 January for theft on Holton Road, Barry.
One person was arrested on Holton Road, Barry for fraud on 9 January.
On 11 January two people were arrested on Port Road, Barry for theft and breach of bail conditions.
On the same day two people were arrested for burglary on Main Street, Barry.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
