12 Arrests Following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 12 arrests and one missing person found last week.

 

The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 55 times during the week ending 13 July 2014.

 

On Gladstone Road, on 08 July, one male was arrested for possession of Class A drugs.

 

On 09 July, one male was arrested on Belverdere Crescent for breach of conditions, and two males, one on Vere Street and one on Thompson Street, for being outstanding wanted.

 

On 11 July, three people were arrested on Main Street. One male and one female were arrested for possession of Class A drugs, while another male was arrested for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

 

Also on 11 July, one male was arrested on Holton Road for being drunk and disorderly.

 

On 12 July, one male was arrested on Market Street for driving under the influence of alcohol, and one male was arrested on Main Street for a public order offence.

 

Two more arrests were made on Holton Road on 12 July. One female was arrested for possession of Class A drugs, while another male was arrested for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

 

On 07 July, one missing person was located on Holton Road.

 

All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.

 

The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
