21 Arrests Following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 21 arrests last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 59 times during the week ending 20 July 2014.
On Holton Road, on 14 July, one female was arrested for theft.
On 15 July, one male was arrested on Holton Road for theft, one male was arrested on Skomer Road for possession of cannabis, and one female was arrested on Ogmore Place for possession of Class A and Class B drugs with intent to supply.
On 16 July, one male was arrested for supplying Class A drugs.
On 18 July, one male was arrested on Holton Road for being in possession of an offensive weapon, and three males were arrested on Barry Road, two for burglary and one for being outstanding wanted.
On 19 July, one male and one female were arrested on Barry Waterfront for theft, and two males and one female were arrested on Holton Road for various thefts.
On 20 July, three males on Boverton Road, Llantwit Major were issued fixed penalty notices for criminal damage, and three males were arrested on Paget Road, Barry Island for public order offences.
On Holton Road, also on 20 July, one male was arrested for various attempted thefts and for being drunk and disorderly.
On 14 July one make was issued a Section 27 notice in Belvedere Crescent, and on 15 July one male was issued an anti-social behaviour referral in Central Park.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
