11 Arrests Following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 11 arrests last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 48 times during the week ending 22 June 2014.
On Holton Road on 17 June, two males were arrested, one for breach of bail conditions, one for theft.
On 19 June, one female was arrested on Holton Road for theft, and one male was arrested on King’s Square for being drunk and disorderly.
On St Brides Way, also on 19 June, one male was arrested for being outstanding wanted, and one female was arrested for possession and cultivation of cannabis.
On 20 June, on Windsor Road, Penarth, one male and one female were arrested for theft.
On 21 June, on Holton Road one female was arrested for theft and one male was arrested for suspected arson, and on Skomer Road one male was arrested for assault.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
