22 Arrests Following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 22 arrests last week.

 

The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 70 times during the week ending 15 June 2014.

 

On Holton Road, two males were arrested for theft, one on 9 June, one on 10 June.

 

On 11 June, one male was arrested for theft on Barry Road, and another male was arrested for robbery on Barry Island.

 

On 12 June, on Holton Road, one female was arrested for theft, and one male was arrested for numerous thefts. One male and one female were also arrested for being outstanding wanted.

 

Also on 12 June, on Barry Road, one male was arrested for numerous thefts.

 

On 13 June, eight arrests were made on Holton Road. Two females were arrested for separate charges of theft, a group of three females were arrested on charges of theft, and a group of three males were arrested for public order offences.

 

Also on 13 June, on Barry Waterfront, one male and one female were arrested for theft.

 

On 15 June two males were arrested on Holton Road for affray and criminal damage, and on Burlington Street one male was arrested for being outstanding wanted.

 

On 14 June two males were charged with various driving offences along Barry Waterfront.

 

All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.

 

The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
