June is booking out all over at Barry County Library

Published 24 June 2014

Barry County Library will be hosting its authors event ‘June is booking out all over’ on 28 June from 10.30am.

The event is an opportunity for anyone interested in writing to come and meet, talk to, and get advice from some of the most well-known authors from all over Wales.

Local author Eileen Younghusband, best known for her book One Woman’s War, which tells the story of her experiences during World War II, will be attending, as well as Hearts of Gold author Catrin Collier, who was instrumental in gathering authors together for the event.

Also attending is novelist and poet Phil Carradice, having recently appeared at the Dinefwr Literature Festival earlier this month.

Many of the thirty or so authors already confirmed will be bringing along their most recent works, which they will be signing and selling on the day.
