12 arrests following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 12 arrests last week.

 

The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 36 times during the week ending 2 March 2014.

 

On 24 February on Holton Road, Barry, one wanted person wanted on warrant was arrested, one person was arrested for affray and possession of an offensive weapon and one person was arrested for assault and criminal damage.

 

One person was arrested on 25 February for theft on St Brides Way, Barry.

 

On 26 February one person was arrested on Harbour Road, Barry for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

 

On the same day one person was arrested on Skomer Road, Barry for drink driving.

 

On 27 February one person was arrested on Thompson Street, Barry for theft.

 

On the same day two people were arrested on Broad Street, Barry for theft.

 

On 28 February one person was arrested on Ramsey Road, Barry for possession of class A drugs, one person was arrested on Holton Road, Barry for criminal damage and one person was arrested on Barry Road, Barry for theft.

 

All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.

 

The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
