7 arrests following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 7 arrests last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 34 times during the week ending 30 March 2014.
On 25 March one person was arrested on Holton Road, Barry on a charge of theft.
Two people were arrested on Broad Street, Barry for burglary on 27 March, and on 29 March two people were arrested on Gladstone Road, Barry for Criminal Damage and Assault.
On Paget Road, Barry Island, two people were arrested for taking without consent.
Two missing people were found on 29 March on Gladstone Road, Barry.
On 30 March, three people were issued with an ASBO on High Street, Barry.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
