10 arrests made following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 10 arrests last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 41 times during the week ending 18 May 2014.
On 12 May one person was arrested on Holton Road for theft, and another was arrested on Treharne Road for possession of drugs.
On 14 May, on Buttrils Road one person was arrested for going equipped to steal, on Skomer Road one person was arrested for possession of drugs, and on Kendrick Road one person was arrested for breaking into a vehicle.
On Barry Road, on 16 May one person was arrested for being wanted by police.
On 17 May, on Holton Road, three people were arrested for burglary.
On Merthyr Street, one person was arrested for breach of bail on 18 May.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
