10 people arrested following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 10 arrests last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 35 times during the week ending 25 May 2014.
On 20 May one person was arrested on Treharne Road for possession of Class A drugs, and on Holton Road one person was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
On 22 May, on Main Street, one person was arrested for the theft of a vehicle, failing to stop for police, and various motoring offences.
On Barry Road, on 16 May one person was arrested for being wanted by police.
On 23 May, on Market Street two people were arrested for assault, on Treharne Road one person was arrested for possession of Class A drugs, on St. Bride’s Way three people were arrested for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply, and on Barry Road one person was arrested for being outstanding wanted.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
