12 arrests made following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 12 arrests and two ASBOs issued last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 33 times during the week ending 11 May 2014.
On 05 May one male was arrested on Park Crescent for theft.
On 06 May, on Holton Road, two males were arrested for criminal damage, and on Park Crescent one male was arrested for theft.
On Holton Road, on 08 May one male was arrested, and on 09 May one female was arrested, both on a charge of theft.
Also on 09 May, on High Street, one male was arrested for being drunk and disorderly and causing criminal damage.
On 10 May, two males and one female were arrested on Kingsland Crescent for breaking into a vehicle and theft.
Two separate arrests were made on Holton Road on 10 and 11 May, both on a charge of theft.
On Wyndham Street on 05 May two males were issued with an ASBO.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
