Former Lifeguard Building and Tourist Information Centre To Let

Published Wednesday 07 May 2014

Two Council buildings are to be made available to rent, with tenders being invited until 6 June.

The former lifeguard building on Barry Island Promenade and the ground floor of the former Tourist Information Centre will be offered on a lease basis, with viewings set to take place within the next few weeks.

The lifeguard building has two rooms and a large kitchen area, boasts fantastic views across Whitmore Bay, and is sure to attract plenty of attention.

Both are available on a ten year lease, with some uses for the TIC building already being suggested, including a shop, restaurant or café, or an art gallery.

The Council has invested heavily in the Barry Island area over the last few years, and with a multi-million pound regeneration project on the horizon it would seem these buildings are in a prime location.
