Vale of Glamorgan Council Wins National Transport Award

The Vale of Glamorgan Council has won the Travel Demand Management category in the CILT Cymru-Wales National Transport & Logistics Awards 2014.
The award, won alongside New Adventure Travel, was given for the 303/304 bus service between Bridgend and Cardiff, which was also named as runner up in the Partnership category.
Kevyn Jones, Managing Director at New Adventure Travel said: “We are very pleased to have won this award in conjunction with Vale of Glamorgan Council. We see great potential with the 303/304 route going forward and we hope we can continue to build on what’s already been achieved.”
The awards were presented on 9 May at the prestigious Assembly Room in City Hall, and saw many of the best and brightest of Wales’ supply chain and transport professionals being nominated for some of the industry’s key awards.
