8 arrested following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 8 arrests issued last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 37 times during the week ending 09 November 2014.
On 03 November one female was arrested on Holton Road for theft.
On 06 November, one male was arrested on Barry Road and one female was arrested on Holton Road, both for theft.
One person was also arrested on 06 November for being outstanding wanted.
On 07 November, two males were arrested on Holton Road, one for theft, and one for being outstanding wanted and theft.
Another male was arrested for theft, also on 07 November, on Merthyr Street.
On 09 November one male was arrested on Dunlin Court for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply, and a vehicle seized for various traffic offences.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
