10 arrested following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 10 arrests and 1 Fixed Penalty Notice issued last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 51 times during the week ending 05 October 2014.
On 29 September one person was arrested on Holton Road, Barry, and one person was arrested on Main Street, Barry, both wanted on a warrant.
On 30 September two people were arrested on Holton Road for theft, while another two people were arrested, also on Holton Road for being outstanding wanted.
Two more people were arrested on Holton Road for theft, one on 01 October, and one on 03 October.
Also on 03 October, one person was arrested for criminal damage on Gladstone Road, Barry, while another person was arrested on Holton Road for being drunk and disorderly, and for breach of bail conditions.
A fixed penalty notice was issued on Holton Road on 02 October for theft.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
