Barry Library Tweets Story for Chatterbooks Week

Published 15 October 2014

To celebrate Chatterbooks Week, a children’s group at Barry Library have created their own story with the help of author Francesca Kay.

And people will have the opportunity to read the story on Twitter as it is sent out on various occasions over the next few weeks.

The Vale Libraries’ Twitter account @VOGLibraries will send out a series of tweets making up the whole story at 4.30pm on Tuesday 14 October. They will also do the same on Sunday 19 at 3.30pm, Sunday 26 at 9.30am, and Sunday 2 November at 2.30pm.

Social media savvy residents are being asked to retweet the story using #LoveLibraries to help support the group and get the children’s story circulating as far and wide as possible.

Chatterbooks Reading Groups are organised by The Reading Agency and are set up to encourage children aged 4 to 12 to have a great time talking about books.
