Rangers at Porthkerry Country Park are inviting wildlife enthusiasts aged 8 and over to join their Wildlife Club.

The club, run by the Ranger Service, meets once a month for two hours at Porthkerry Country Park Forest Lodge.

The Wildlife Club offers hands-on experiences and information about the vast wildlife found in the park’s woodlands, ponds, meadows and shores, and the chance to study the habitats they live in.

Children will get the opportunity to learn outside the classroom about biology, identification, conservation and field skills, all as part of the Wildlife Trust’s Wildlife Watch Scheme.

The first meeting back is Saturday 25 October from 10am to 12pm, and costs just £2 per child.
