15 arrested following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 15 arrests last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 45 times during the week ending 31 August 2014.
On 25 August one male was arrested on Merthyr Street for domestic assault.
On 26 August, one male and one female were arrested on Holton Road for theft, and one female was arrested on Vere Street for breach of bail conditions and two counts of theft.
On 29 August, one female was arrested on Belverdere Crescent for a public order offence and possession of a controlled substance.
On 30 August four males were arrested for possession of offensive weapons, and another male was arrested on Hood Road for assault.
Three males were also arrested for assault on Evelyn Street.
On 31 August, two males were arrested on Holton Road for theft.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
