Council agrees Improvement Objectives for 2015-16

Published 29 April 2015

The Vale of Glamorgan Improvement Plan Part 1: Improvement Objectives 2015-16 was agreed at a meeting of full Council on 29th April.

Rob Thomas, Managing Director, said: “The Council constantly strives to improve the services it provides. It has a statutory duty to set specific Improvement Objectives each year and targets these objectives to achieve significant improvements in areas that are important locally. Five Improvement Objectives have been set this year, informed by the Council’s Corporate Plan, assessment of service performance data, annual service planning processes, reports from our external regulators, as well as consultations taken over the past two years.”

The 2015-16 Improvement Objectives, including the rationale for selecting these and the accompanying Scoping for Equality Impact Assessment, can be viewed on our Achieving Our Vision page.

You can also access this plan at all Council office receptions, and libraries and can propose new Improvement Objectives or make comments on existing ones by emailing improvements@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk.
