Palmerston offers free adult learning taster sessions

An exciting new programme of Get Back on Track courses for adults with additional needs has been launched at Palmerston Community Learning Centre, Barry.
And learners are being given the chance to sample some of the new courses on offer at a free taster session held at the centre on Tuesday 8 September from 1pm to 3pm.
Learners are welcome to come along with family, friends or carers to find out about the range of courses on offer and participate in some activities. Taster activities include African hand drumming, arts and crafts, pottery and music and dance.
The new courses are being offered in partnership with Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Adult and Community Learning Service.
Fees will apply to the courses on a first come, first served basis and enrolment and payment will secure a place on the first ten week term starting week commencing 21 September.
