Rangers at Porthkerry Country Park are calling for a raft of volunteers to help with their latest stream cleaning operation.

On Saturday 15 August from 10am to 1pm a team of park rangers will be removing rubbish and fallen branches from Porthkerry’s streams, and are putting on a free barbecue to all those who lend a hand.

Children are more than welcome to join as long as they are accompanied by an adult, and all are advised to wear wellies, gloves, and old clothes.

Volunteers can meet under the gazebo in the car park at the bottom of Fishponds Hill, near the railway bridge, from 10am on the day.
