Beach Huts Open Week
It may be a little early in the year for a dip in the sea but a day at the beach could be on the cards for many this half term.
A Barry Island beach huts “open week” has been announced. For five days local residents and visitors to Barry Island will have the opportunity to try out the new beach huts for free, before they become available for public hire later this spring.
The huts will be open to the public from 10.00am each morning. Use of the huts is available at no cost, on a first come first served basis.
Larger huts have a power socket and access to water. Visitors may wish to bring a camping chair or something similar as none are provided. A Vale Council member of staff will be on hand to assist residents.
