5 arrested following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 5 arrests made last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 42 times during the week ending 11 January 2015.
On 7 January one male was arrested on for theft on Regent Street.
On 9 January, on Watson Street, another male was arrested for theft.
On 10 January one male was arrested on George Street for possession of class A drugs with intent on supply.
On 11 January, one male arrested for possession of an offensive weapon on Park Crescent, while another male was arrested on Main Street for being outstanding wanted.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
