5 arrested following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 5 arrests made last week.


The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 69 times during the week ending 21 June 2015.


On 15 June four separate arrests were made on Main Street, Barry Road, Court Road and Holton Road, all wanted on a warrant.


And on Holton Road, Barry on 16 June one person was arrested for theft.


All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.


The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
