7 arrested following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 7 arrests made and 1 fixed penalty notice issued last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 39 times during the week ending 31 May 2015.
On 25 May one person was arrested on Main Street, Barry for theft.
Three arrests were made on 27 May. Two people were arrested on Holton Road, Barry, one for criminal damage and one wanted on a warrant, while one person was arrested on Vere Street, Barry, for being drunk and disorderly.
On 31 May three arrests were made. One person was arrested on Holton Road, Barry for breach of bail and being wanted on a warrant, and on Barry Road, Barry one person was arrested for racial abuse, and one person was arrested for wounding.
Also on 31 May, one fixed penalty notice was issued for criminal damage on Barry Island.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
