8 arrested following CCTV monitoring

CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to 8 arrests made last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 36 times during the week ending 14 June 2015.
On 10 June one person was arrested on Millennium Way, Barry for theft.
On Castleland Street, Barry on 11 June one person was arrested for assault.
On 12 June on High Street, Barry one person was arrested for taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent and being drunk in charge of a vehicle.
One person was arrested on 13 June on Broad Street, Barry for assault and a public order offence.
On 14 June four arrests were made on Broad Street, three for public order offences and one for criminal damage.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
