Cowbridge library welcomes Rugby Zombies

Cowbridge library welcomed Dan Anthony, author of the Rugby Zombies series, for a story writing master class.
The year four class from Ysgol Iolo Morgannwg joined Dan at the library and took part in the story writing class as part of the Rugby Stories competition.
The competition, which aims to help develop the literacy and digital skills of children across Wales, asks for work based on the theme of rugby in Wales in either English or Welsh.
Children aged 7 to 9 are being asked to write poems no longer than 250 words, children between 10 and 12 are asked to write short stories of no more than 500 words, and older children from 13 to 16 are being asked to make a short film of no more than 3 minutes.
All the chosen finalists will have their stories displayed at the Kick-Offs and Keep-Sakes exhibition at the National Museum in Cardiff.
And first place in each category will also win a rugby shirt, a rugby ball, a signed print, and a special extended Millennium Stadium tour, with prizes for second and third place too.
