Free Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) course

Would you like to learn about working safely with harmful chemicals in the workplace? Barry Communities First and Jobcentre Plus are running a free course for anyone that would like to know more.
A one-day Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) course will be held on Wednesday 31 March, covering the basics of identifying, measuring and controlling substances hazardous to health.
It is suitable for all industry sectors and is useful for anyone with responsibility for storing, using, handling or transporting hazardous substances; particularly those looking to work in manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport, utilities or office environments.
The course will be held at Jobcentre Plus, Holton Road from 9.30am until 4pm. Priority will be given to residents living in a Barry Communities First area which includes parts of Buttrills, Cadoc, Court, Castleland and Gibbonsdown.
