Changes to garden waste collections across the Vale

As the winter months approach, changes to garden waste collections mean that, from December, Vale residents are required to call the Council and request collection of their garden waste.
At present, garden waste is collected every other week (alternating with residents’ black bag collections), with residents required to place their garden waste bags on the kerbside by 7.00am on collection day.
However, from December, a ring and request operation will begin, where residents will need to arrange collection of any waste they may have accumulated by calling 01446 700111. This will continue to operate between the slower gardening months (December – February), before the normal fortnightly service returns in March.
