Safer Vale hosts free community open day at Barry Fire Station

An open day at Barry Fire Station aims to show how local services help to make the Vale a safer place to live and visit.
They free event organised by Safer Vale, is open to everyone and will include a road traffic collision demonstration.
The team at Safer Vale work to create a safer environment for everyone and to help ensure that the Vale of Glamorgan is one of the safest places in the country.
On Sunday 23 July, children can enjoy a bouncy castle, arts and crafts and face painting, as well as a Magician show and gymnastic demonstration.
People can also get up close and personal with snakes and lizards at a hands-on reptile zone.
The event will run from 11am-3pm and refreshments will be available to buy on the day.
Free parking will be available at Barry Comprehensive Port Road West, located opposite the fire station.
