Paws in the Vale
Paws in the Vale is a dog friendly scheme. We are helping shops, eateries and accommodation in the rural Vale to be dog friendly during this period and to measure the impact.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Creative Rural Communities Team is piloting Date Days, offering activities for school-aged children and their parents or guardians to try together.
We have received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, the Welsh Government, and by the Vale of Glamorgan Council. We also deliver other projects which fit with our LDS and are sometimes funded by external funders. In addition we run specific projects funded by the Waterloo Foundation and Coastal Communities.
