Course Description

Abstract Photography

Abstract is an area of photography that will expand the way you view your photography subjects. With Abstract photography anything is a potential subject.


The course is designed as an introduction to developing your skills in looking for the photographic potential in any subject. Shape, colour, texture, angles, composition and light will all form part of the end result.


The course comprises of the following,

Using the best camera feature or setting.

Using a range of skills such as angle, perspective light and textures.

Using a range of composition skills and techniques.


The course is suitable for all levels, from a complete beginner to an experienced photographer who may want to improve their skills.


The course format is a mix of theory and practical tasks.  


Please bring along:

Digital Camera, Blank Memory card, a fully charged camera battery and battery charger. Note pad, pen The course is suitable for all types of cameras but not Camera phones / iPads / tablets.


Meet the Photographer Glyn Evans

I am a freelance photographer based in Cowbridge. My photography work includes a wide range of areas such as local press, websites, commercial and photo libraries.

Over the past few years I have specialized in covering Agricultural and Country Shows in Wales and the Welsh Borders.

I also deliver a number of Photography and Photoshop courses for Vale Courses
