A brief glimpse into the lives of Sol Jorgensen and her son Seth who suffers from hypotonia and learning disabilities. This exhibition features beautifully crafted and sometimes painfully draw images by Sol together with her intimate poetry directly from the heart of a full time carer.

 

Isabel Hitchman, Senior Visual Arts Officer for the Arts Council for Wales for twenty-five years says:

First shown at Butetown History and Arts Centre in June 2008 for Carers Week, the exhibition was kept on unitl August due to the positive response from the public.

 

The exhibition will close at Art Central just before Carers Rights Day on December 5 which is a day to promote the rights of unpaid family members, friends or relatives who provide substantial care to someone who would struggle to live independendtly without them.
